The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, will celebrate Middle Eastern, Arabian and North African culture with “Sahra,” a music and dance spectacular on November 21, 2009.
ACCESS is pleased that some of the proceeds will be earmarked specifically for our Michigan youth programs. The concert also will benefit the National Arab American Medical Association and children’s charities in the Middle East and North Africa.
This exciting evening will feature Khaled, known as the King of Rai; Middle Eastern vocal legend Assala Nasri; and Arab and classical pop music sensation Rida Al Abdulla. These three world-renowned vocalists will be joined onstage by celebrities including India Arie and K.C. Porter, plus more than 100 professional dancers and musicians from 12 countries! The performance also will honor Universal Children’s Day, which is November 20. “Sahra” is being presented by the MGM Grand and Dawn Elder World Entertainment.
