Listen! A Brussels Future Music Festival
2nd Edition - 30, 31 March & 1 April 2017

After a successful first edition in 2016, attended by thousands of people, spanning several iconic venues in the city and featuring live acts, DJ sets, inspirational talks and a record fair, “Listen! A Brussels Future Music Festival” returns on 30, 31 March and 1 April for its second edition in Brussels, the heart of Europe.

Listen! focuses on electronic music and innovation.
The second edition will take place on 3 days with an even more ambitious program that aims to be part of a global movement built on diversity and creativity, in a passionate and professional context.

Thanks to its diverse, qualitative and accessible program, it enables the Belgian scene to interact with the music industry and join the conversation about its future by offering record fairs, conferences, workshops, internet radio and so much more. The program allows visitors to emerge in a balanced out mix of local, national and international artists, while it offers the artist themselves a setting where the past, present and future of music culture come together.

Listen! 3 days on different locations in Brussels.
Opening on Thursday with a concert in the notorious Studio4 at Flagey, Listen! spans over 3 days, invites the best party promoters to promote the culture of electronic music in the capital and proposes an urban trail through the city partnering with more than 20 organizations and major venues: Square Brussels Meeting Centre, AB, Beursschouwburg, ING Art Center, Épicerie Moderne, Bonnefooi, Maison du Peuple, Bar du Marché, Belga, Jalousy…

On Friday evening a series of documentaries on electronic music culture will be shown at Cinéma Vendôme. The evening program focuses on diversity in electronic hip hop, bass and soulful curated by Lefto Presents, Strictly Niceness and Tangram Records at Square Brussels Meeting Centre.

Saturday is the culmination of the whole weekend with a day and night program at Square Brussels Meeting Centre. During the day visitors can attend a record fair and a conference with inspirational talks, master classes and workshops. At night Listen! proposes 3 rooms with each a different take on the most interesting evolutions in house, techno, disco & beyond, where you can discover numerous of the best Belgian and international live acts and DJ sets.

Listen! … To the radio. Meeting Point and Online Radio.
From 10 March until 1 April, 3 weekends before Listen! and the weekend of the festival, the
ING Art Center at Place Royal accommodates the Meeting Point of Listen! with a radio station and a bar. The public will be able to access the first floor for the first time ever to enjoy exclusive radio broadcasts consisting of interviews, debates and DJ sets by Belgian artists. The Meeting Point will be open from Thursday to Saturday, from 7PM until 1AM.

Listen! in the future?
As a city festival Listen! wants to grow with its partners and aims to be the yearly rendez-vous for all music lovers: the meeting point for up and coming artists, professionals, passionates and the big public in the center of Europe.
